Disassemble Barn
In 2004 the ‘opportunity of a lifetime’ as Jeff called it, came up. A local farm had been sold to a school district to build a new high school and the barn had to be removed. After winning the bid, what is now the horse barn and four other buildings were removed, relocated, and rebuilt over the next four years. Almost all of the 85,000 lbs of the original wood was recycled & reused, and only the new roof was added to protect the structure from the weather. The barn was finally dedicated with a big party, a live band, and 100 of their closest friends!
